Atlanta’s Hartsfield–Jackson International Airport is one of largest airport in US offering flights from almost all major towns within US. It is also very well connected with most other countries with direct or connecting flight services.
From Airport to Georgia Tech
Cabs: The most easy commute from Airport is by renting cab. Reach the airport, book a ride (Uber/Lyft), sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. In case you dislike Uber or Lyft services, Atlanta also offers several other cab companies.
Rental Cars: Relaxing is not your thing? Prefer thrills of driving? No Problem! You can also find several car rental companies (Enterprise, National, Hertz etc.) at the airport offering cabs at cheap rates. It is advised to prebook cars online before arriving as Atlanta is a major tourist attraction. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Metro: Do not like roads? You can try the famous Atlanta metro – MARTA, directly from Airport. Follow the signs on airport which will lead you to MARTA station. Purchase the MARTA card, take any of the north bound trains and get down at Midtown station. You can either rent a cab or take the Tech Trolley to Georgia Tech.
Trains
Amtrak: Not a big fan of sky…How about trains? Atlanta also offers Amtrak services to and from the neighbouring towns and cities. Near the Amtrak station, you can catch the MARTA from Peachtree Street Station. Get down at Midtown station and enjoy the Tech Trolley till Georgia Tech.
Road
Car: Do you enjoy long drive and scenic routes? Why not drive to Georgia Tech? Atlanta is well connected by road and is accessible via Interstates 20, 75, 85 and Georgia 400. Turn on the google maps and enjoy the drive!
Bus: Stuck without a car? Try the bus services from Megabus or Greyhound.
